"Get to know each other session"

Our first meeting is a  relaxed "get to know each other session" the aim of which is to see whether we are a good fit and to help you make an informed decision about couples counseling. Taking the decision to come see a counsellor is a daunting task for many and takes a lot of courage. I will do my very best to make you feel safe and comfortable with me.

 

Session structure

Once you have made the decision to start counseling, we will meet usually weekly for about an hour to 1.5 hour.

Change takes time to happen, and I ask for a "mental" commitment of at least 3 months in order for you to see the benefits of coaching on your relationship. However, couples typically experience immediate relief from the very first initial sessions on.
